Acceptance

By accessing or using Devcast ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

Devcast converts release notes, changelogs, and feature summaries into AI-generated demo videos. The Service includes video generation, hosting, and sharing functionality.

Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
  • Create AI avatars using another person's likeness or voice without their consent.
  • Generate content that is harmful, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data.
  • Use the Service in a way that disrupts or degrades performance for others.

AI Avatar Consent

If you choose to create an AI avatar, you confirm that you have the right to use the likeness and voice in the onboarding recording. You grant Devcast a license to process this media solely for the purpose of generating videos on your behalf.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you provide (scripts, release notes, recordings) and all videos generated from your content. Devcast retains ownership of the Service, its software, and its branding.

Availability

Devcast is an early-stage product (MVP). We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or any service level agreement (SLA). The Service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devcast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
